CNG

CNG stands for Compressed Natural Gas. It is a type of fuel that is derived from natural gas, primarily composed of methane, which is compressed at high pressure to fit into a smaller volume. CNG is used as an alternative to gasoline, diesel, and propane for powering vehicles, as well as in various industrial applications. It is recognized for being a cleaner-burning fuel, resulting in lower emissions of pollutants and greenhouse gases compared to traditional fossil fuels. CNG is stored in high-pressure tanks and can be utilized in specially designed natural gas vehicles (NGVs) or adapted internal combustion engines. Its use is encouraged as part of efforts to enhance energy security and reduce environmental impact.
